TURBONEGRO: THE MOVIE; Blitzcore 2002

This is for those of you who were either too afraid or too stupid to attend Turbonegro's 1997-1998 American/European tour. Yes, I know that they have reformed and are poised to set the world on fire, but this is vintage Turbonegro that will most likely never be witnessed again. This is pre-looney bin material before they locked up frontman Hank von Helvete for heroin and mental instability. This is when you knew the crazy shit was for real. Composed of live material, turbogoofiness, videos, and band interviews, Turbonegro: The Movie is pure entertainment ranging from a scene where Hank lights a bottle rocket from his ass to some downright nasty rock. Even though Turbonegro is finally starting to gain the recognition they deserve by both peers (Metallica/Queens of the Stone Age) and fans it doesn't mean that they will start to market themselves accordingly, but if they do we will fortunately be left with this visual document that captures a few brilliant moments in rock 'n' roll history.
