27 Let The Light In CD

On Let The Light In, 27 tender a platter full of mediocre-ly pleasant modern rock. All the material is orthodox, vaguely tuneful and given a sorta heavy-ish, kinda rockin' handling. The end result suggests demos cut in hopes of placing a track on the next Avril Lavigne or Kelly Clarkson “rock album,” written and performed by a band that's been doing pay-for-play gigs on Sunset Boulevard for the last eleven years.
