Excepter - Debt Dept

What's all the fuss? There's some serious backlash happening over this CD and I can't imagine why. The post-industrial pseudo-disco dance segments are fun examples of why this could be exciting in a not-so-serious tone. Are your panties really in a bunch because these guys don't get down to some serious goth-industrial-darkwave (e)motions? Get over it. Excepter has a great time taking the piss out of the over-the-top, over-serious business of dark dance music and creates something that transcends the get-over-yourself bullshit of the egomaniacal industrial kings. While you won't grab Debt Dept. to get things started at your latest shindig, it does work as a refreshing take on everything Nine Inch Nails. [Paw-Tracks]
