JACK OBLIVIAN and THE TENNESSEE TEARJERKERS / MANNEQUIN MEN split 7"

Second in Scion's 7" garage rock series shows no let up in showcasing vital and worthy talent. This time out we've got former Oblivian, Jack Yarber throwing down some bar stool Memphis twang with his latest outfit and it goes down fine like a frosty snit with a beer. B-side flips over to the Mannequin Men who as you already know are probably one of the best bands going out of the Midwest currently. Chicago punk through a Clean-meets-The Replacements filter. Haven't heard 'em yet or think the claim preposterous? Give it a spin and allow yourself to be the judge. It's free if you know where to look. [Scion A/V]
